Over the last few years, Kymos Pharma Services have made a significant effort to respond to the analytical requirements of Veterinary Companies and Animal Food Laboratories. This has prompted our company to specialise in analytical studies specific to this important sector and to adjust themselves to their needs both regarding regulation compliance and strict operation terms.
Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios published in 2005 the circular letter 2/2005 that controlled the extraordinary five-year revalidation procedure of marketing authorizations regarding veterinary medicaments, in order to adapt them, in many cases, to updated scientific knowledge. This circular letter caused the analytical studies requested by the veterinary sector companies to grow exponentially. In connection with a large part of the medicaments included in their vademecum, the companies must submit extensive registration documents, including a complete Part II. Moreover, for medicaments destined to food-producing animals, a waiting time establishment study must be included (depletion or confirmation) according to the accepted MRL (“Maximim Residue Limit”). Kymos Pharma Services offer their services for the performance of all of these regulatory-exacted analytical studies, as they are studies focused on the analytical fields in which our company has the widest experience.
